the roach have shifted
after almost 3 years of inconsistent blogging, the roach is moving to a greener and more slimier long kang.
as you know with blogspot, the entries are free for all to view, it's kinda restricting on what you can and what you can't say.
so it's on to a more secure, personal and "more liberal in speech" site.

of my new mp-san player
saw a reasonably priced new player on the block and got it after doing some research.
initally it was suppose to be the iriver clix 2 (8GB) but due to the sheer price of it, decided on the iriver x20(4GB) instead
here is my new toy!
kinda regretted not getting the 8GB version. ah well...it would have meant more money anyway. so i will just make do =)
review: it is pretty easy to use with the software bundle and all, the player is surprisingly light and the battery lifespan is pretty good. lithium batt is replaceable and rechargeable. screen resolution is pretty good and 1 of the many plus points is the external speakers which allows your friends to listen to the songs without plugging in the earphones. neat!

of pure madness, madness, madness
i stuck my arm up a cow's arse during prac classes while the cow contracted on my arms and poo-ed at the same time, yes, i kena poo on the arm, luckily not on the overalls.
and since the holidays started, to summarize:
last saturday marks the last Japanese for beginners class and as well as the start of my 1 pathetic week break from school. (where got enough!!!!)
i watched a total of 3 dvds , "prime", "enter the phoenix" and "van wilder-party liaison" , 1 taiwan serial "放羊的星星" & 1 japanese serial "Hana Kimi" [Nakatsu is so cute lah! Ikuta Toma, thats his real name]
had japanese food (Hikaru, Kura, Tomodachi, random sushi's)
celebrated Mid-Autumn's Festival on the rooftop with mooncakes & lanterns
had Max Brenner's at Oxford Street
had korean food (can't remember the name of the place)
had thai food at Haymarket
had makan at a HK themed restaurant in Chinatown
went for my school attachment at Gladesville
went to the pub across from my place twice for drinks (4 schooners of pure blonde to date =D)
played pool at the same pub
went KTV at GBP twice in a space of 4 days (KTV in Sydney is way cheaper than KBox in SG ok~~)
today is another "nua" day at home before we chiong again tomorrow with a full day of a beach walk? @ Bondi, lunch at Hurricane's (apparently very good ribs) and a possibly an extensive night of KTV at K2
up next in the plan, is Oktoberfest!

i'll pick "The Great Challenge" out of the 2 =)
the upcoming week is suppose to be a sunny one, keeping mua feelers crossed.

dis rainy days keeps insanity awake
crazy ktv sessions which left me dangerously sleep deprived =P & not to mention a ridiculously overpriced yam cha session yesterday
crazy movie-watching too for the record;
"The Thin Red Line" was boring and too wordy
"Apocalypto" was "what the hell?!?" and you have this male protagonist running for his life throughout the length of the movie
"Save the Last Dance" was pretty a-ok, society issues and romance
"The Prince & Me" is your typical teeny-booper flick
"A Sound of Thunder" was good, if you like those "back to the past" & sci-fic themes
"The Covenant" was cool comparable to "Underworld", better than X-Men, not that i'm a fan of X-Men (with the exception of The Beast, intellectual man or beast is fine with me)
Watched "Ghost Rider" sometime back, that was pretty good too. Finally, a watchable Nicholas Cage movie since "The Rock".
Finished another Matthew Reilly's Contest, this time.
Booze free for a week!
