About "Mee-Say-Dis" & "Bee-Am-Daber-U"s
i've come to this conlusion that most [realize that I used MOST & not ALL, so don't bomb me]mercedes & BMW drivers back in SG are bloody reckless.
so what if you driving expensive car? your grandfather bought you COE for the roads in SG also is it??
[i mean face it, you have to have a sizeable income to drive either brand of cars]
now this is not groundless accusation,
TWICE now, my aunt & young cousin were nearly knocked down by a mercedes at a pedestrian crossing near my place [back in SG of course],fully expecting the driver to stop at the crossing, my aunt started to cross the road, that damn car just zoomed past her without stopping.
wtf??!!??
when she recalled the events later back home, I seriously almost swore "CB" [forbidden at home, haha, as with all other Vulgarities.duh] in front of her.
and then I asked her "so you screamed at the driver?"
She: "nope, was too shocked to do anything, just stood there for like 5 seconds"
Me: "o..."
which was very likeable, who wouldn't be shocked and scared speechless at this type of incident?my aunt was probably more worried whether my cousin was injured or somethingbut seriously, thank god she was that bit late in crossing the road.
now to the "Bee-Am-Daber-U"s
personally, I've also almost been knocked down by one before, same scenerio. Lucky me, I was that 1 second late too.
ever since the 2 incidents, I have grown to start looking out for "trouble-maker" cars, i.e cars that don't give way to pedestrians when suppose to, turn damn bloody fast at corners, pppoo-ing other vehicles]
sounds stupid, but there is a common similarity. most of the time, they are mercs & BMWs.
I will go "Ha.See? Mercs or BMs right????" "8 out of 10 times 1 lah"
I rest my case.

High Oredi Lo...
i wonder...
wat will happen if i get drunk, get "high"? blabber nonsense? spouting rubbish?
now isnt that the same thing. lol.
getting "high" already just thinking about it.
never been drunk before, seriously contemplating trying to get a hangover.
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
was watching 1 episode of 蔷薇之恋, the 2 leading actors were getting drunk on hard liquor [nothing kinky here ah!]
& suddenly my thoughts drifted to SG, think of the people that I would meet up with and drink in another [look at the counter on the right] days.
with the gals it would be stuff like barcadi breezers & vodka lime or the various other liquor mixed eh..solution? you find in 7-11/Cheers[pai sei AT, will get you good stuff from DFS :)]
with the guys it would be stuff like a 6-pack of Baron's
personally i prefer beer 'cause it's cheaper by the half dozens & more lethal.hahaaa.
nevermind this time can get some liquor from DFS en route home. [just remembered, I have a bottle of Absolut Vanilla back in SG. hey hey]
shit...[should I say yeast instead?] this blog is fast fermenting into a Saccharomyces hotspot.

- OH
kind of having a mental block...something stuck in my head...
guess is because i haven been moving around much the past few days;
serious case of degradation
suddenly feel like drinking some booze..yup...
well..Australia has got quite a few local brews, including; Foster's Lager, Carlton Cold, Carlton Draught, Sterling, Emu Bitter, Victoria Bitter, Cascade Lager & lots more
Crown Lager; my current favourite beer of the lot [together with Baron's & Kilkenny] which i tried [not the above list ah, those are the beer brewed in Australia]
the Crown
[previously tried Anchor, Corona Light, Heinekien, Carlsberg, Tiger(blue & classic), Hooegarden, Foster's, Kilkenny, Stella Artois, San Miguel, Asahi Extra Dry, Baron's, Becks]
stumbled on Crown Lager during 1 of my [at that period in time] daily late night outings with a long-time buddy & another friend; was after a game of pool and feeling thirsty, hence headed to a Cheers outlet at the MRT station [figure out for yourself how many MRTs in SG has a Cheers outlet just outside..lol]
saw this "new" beer that was on promo, never heard of before, $2.95, few cents cheaper than Baron's, which was the only beer that i drink consistantly, so just tried it.
found it very smooth and not so full of gas, a more wholesome taste and additional factor was it being cheap.
now in Australia, of course I will go for the local brew what, as 1 of my poly lecturers said during 1 of the lectures:
"Which beer do you drink when you are in SG? of course, Tiger Beer lah! The taste is supposingly the best when you drink it straight after brewing and not after canning and shipping it to other parts of the world."
"Likewise while in other countries, always go for the local brews, 'cause that's when the beer is the freshest. Don't be an idiot and drink Tiger when you are in Italy or something"
that was 1 of the very few lectures that I was fully attentive..haha..for that particular lecturer that is.
heeding his advice [kaoz....did I mention it was a "him"...shit] I stuck to Crown Lager while here...will try the other local brews sometime later....
grabbing a bottle [maybe 2] now...
like wat locals always say, "cheers mates~"

Horoscope today @ Friendster
stumbled on today's prediction [applicable for me only ah..or maybe other scorpios too], just had to put it up:
"Having your doubts about an unfamiliar situation is quite natural, so don't let anyone tell you you're being paranoid. You're not. You're being wise, and that's a rare commodity. "
hmm...thats nice isn't it, but wat if you are the sort to have doubts about everything?
haha.

haha.
it's all in the mind
went to the city library today to try and get some revision done for the upcoming test
barely warmed the seat [ok, that's an exaggeration, was there for 45mins]
decided i couldnt study coz the mucus running down from the left nostril was irritating & distracting me.
left the library and went to the pharmacy to look see look see, maybe can self-medicate.
spurged $19 on a pack of 7 "Clarinase-24hr relief" pills, and upon stepping out of the shop felt instantly better....piangz...
it really is all psychological.
going to pop the pill now liao...ciao~

Bus 510
moral of the story is....
not to sit at the back of a public bus in perth.
twice i ended up sitting behind a family troop of aboriginals whom supports the local government campaign to conserve water; simply put . not bathing.
and myself, a firm believer to bathe before going anywhere, had to suffer the stench emitted by them.
wtf...
and apparently on the bus today, 1 of the kids was talking something abt me, pointed at me for some reason. didnt hear wat was said as i had my earphones on.
bloody hell, lucky thing i had the earphones on, if i heard it, i'm sure i will say something that will result in a decision i will regret.
to myself : "Think, you are here to study. See no evil. Hear no evil. Speak no evil"

14. Jus & the la kopi sessions
feel better after typing all those...siao liao lah....
--------------------------------------------
as i breathe i still can faintly inhale that damn Formalin used on the fetal pig for preservation purposes....damn shitty...can bloody damage the brain...not as if i'm smart enough to allow more damage....hands not reaking of it though...have to wash the labcoat tml...kena stained with fetal stomach juices and more Formalin...forgot the digicam again...oh well..there is still the last week of prac when sch re-opens...
i'm not one for patriotism, but the Thai students with their song session in celebration of their national day today during end of term assembly nearly brough tears to my eyes. It is a common known fact that King Bhumibol Adulyadej is a very well-loved & respected monarch in Thailand, the longest reigning monarch in the world [currently over half a century of rule].
>
Perhaps this photograph above all others signifies how the Thai people see their King.
Really like The King's Song ; composed by His Majesty.

Freakin' Suay-ness
haven been blogging for the past few days, didnt mentioned abt the last weekend trip to Subiaco either, haha...cuz i was too bothered by the weather den [as u can see from the previous posts].
bunch of us, went to Subiaco last saturday and it turned out to be some sort of a mini Freo, streets of cafes, restaurants, shops and boutiques [another nike factory outlet =P]
we heard abt the "Famed" Chocoby Road; a shop that sold good chocolate, expensive too, but said to be very good...i still dunno, cuz i didnt eat any, too expensive for my taste..hahaa
had lunch at a restaurant, some Barramundi [a type of fish; think wrong spelling] with noodles [we thought it was grilled, but it turned out to be afew pieces of fish, sliced] and my 1st glass of white wine..haha..Brown Brother's...good stuff [to me ah] ....
didnt get anything that day except a heater at Garbo's, haha...damn cold lah..buay tahan...now the weather is ok liao though...weird....
ok..back to the topic...
Suayness List:
1. lost my jumper [that's $70 buckaroos + extra time to get a new 1, mind you].
2. kena scratched by a sickening ang mo [in between the fingers, with the flap of dermis still hanging in there].
3. kena stomach cramps
4. forgot to bring books for periods in sch
5. lost "Mo" to study for tests [think is the syndrome, no that's not an excuse & on top of that the freakin' coldness during the last weekend]
that's what happened within these 3 days. kaoz...not alot but just enough to make me frustrated. especially the thought of spending another $70 on a "will-not-keep-me-warm-enough" woollen jumper. makes me totally sick in the stomach.
luckily, the "Mo" is back, going to get it movin' liao. been sitting on my bum the past few days, doing nothing much except the necessary hws and watching serials & abit of local TV [would you believe it?] and also sleeping damn early.
today, experienced haze in the morning, was sort of thick, sort of you cant see further than the next HDB block, that type...
strange that the uk.weather.com site forecasted a warm day....shessh...
these days my biological clock wakes me up at 6.35am exactly, dun ask me why, i'm not sure myself why it's 6.35am and not 6.30 or 6.40. It's just 6.35am. (-_-")
finally, got the damn student card after 8 weeks in sch, got it last week...unbelieveable stuff, the damn government takes 2 months to get it done....
thats not all,
my healthcare card finally arrived after 10 freakin' weeks of sch, that 1 lagi better, i applied for it since last oct [i think], cuz it was together with the sch enrolment papers. have some friends, till dis VERY day, STILL haven gotten it....
thats aussie "efficiency" for you. *rolleyes*
tml is the last day of sch for term 1, den it's 2 weeks of holiday. sian, see others go back, whereas i'm stuck here...well make the best out of the situation...
hope to get certain things done. be productive and revise work.
term 1 was not good enough. got lots of things to go through again.

changed blog skin yet again, thought that simplicity is still the best lah =)
will be updating my photo album later tonight, so stay tuned ah...
and finally the comments section after every post is available, previously dunno why the custom skins couldnt add that section. weird.
added a media player too. hope it is not too irritating..can feedback though..haha..

haven been blogging for the past few days now, was too preoccupied by thoughts of my presentation...still kind of afraid of them..haha..CMI...anyway it's over now finally =P
wednesday was the first cold day of the year i guess...the night temp was 15C and the next night it dropped to 11C. thursday afternoon was raining rather heavily and now as i'm typing on friday afternoon it is still raining..the entire day...damn freezing cold especially when u r trying to get to classes inbetween periods..along the corridors and getting to 'em lockers.
blardy hell sch jacket was redundant..wool but still kind of porous...will be bringing my own jacket to sch starting next week...every1 is now hanging out at the sch canteen...
and dis is only 2nd month of autunm...imagine winter..-_-'
had my 1st fetal pig dissection in search of the different types of muscles...forgot the damn digicam...nvm there is always next week...continued inhalation of the preservative for the ovine...reminded me of Pig's Stomach Soup..yup..i think i'm hallucinating liao....in broad daylight.
i heard ppl saying that tonight there might be hail showers..hmm...how interesting...
*crosses fingers* hope tml doesnt rain...want to check out Subiaco....
btw, Happy April's Fool Day ...haha...
